Relative time

The notion of relative time means the measure of a precise time segment within a given space - in this case the full length of the WAY-T (27 centimetres). WAY-T shows the used time lap with red lights and the remaining time space with green lights.

Opposite to the real time - How late it is - The relative time measure the remaining time in a day, in a week or in a month. The people who organise its time management allocate to a certain job a certain segment of time. This is exactly what WAY-T intends to measure.

Up to now the perception of relative time was uneasy, almost impossible - with the help of existing tools on the market (a traditional round watch for example) - without perturbing the natural flow of a meeting or a presentation.

In fact, the human brain is divided in two hemispheres (
right and left) that work on different tasks.

The right hemisphere is driven by emotion, intuition and the artistic dimension of the environment.

The left hemisphere is driven by reason, ration and the logical dimension of the environment.

Anyhow the two hemispheres are able to run separately or in parallel. Considering that the tasks requested for a presentation or a meeting are traditionally of the second type, the entire right brain faculties are available for managing in parallel the relative time aspects.

WAY-T allows by displaying in line and in colour the optimal perception by the right brain.
